Lesson Name: Tales with Clouds

Grade: 2nd Grade
Objective: Strengthen oral storytelling skills in English and practice listening comprehension through the creation of stories about Winnie’s adventures.
Achievement: Recognizes and expresses emotions, values the importance of friendship, and demonstrates respect for differences by reflecting on and analyzing the story, applying these concepts in their daily life and interactions with classmates.
Achievement Indicators:
● Participates in storytelling activities, taking turns to tell parts of the story about Winnie.
● Uses words or phrases related to reading vocabulary.
● Describes at least one character and two events from the story.
DBA:
#1 Expresses simple ideas about studied topics, using words and phrases.
#2 Understands the sequence of a short and simple story about familiar topics and retells it from illustrations and familiar words.

Exploration Moment (30 minutes)
The class will start by asking the students what adventures are present in the story of Winnie and what other adventures could happen. “What kinds of things would the clouds like to see?” or “What adventures could Winnie and her friends have?”
Structuring Moment (40 minutes)
Students will create a new adventure for Winnie following the structure they’ve learned (beginning, middle, and end). Once understood, they will be divided into small groups, and each group will create an adventure with the characters of their choice, accompanied by an illustration.
Evaluation Moment (30 minutes)
Each group will read aloud the story they created to their classmates. Afterward, a reflection will be done, asking students to share how they felt during the activity.
